Starting Price for a Basic Site
A four page, custom built, static site (like an online brochure) starts at $400.00. Prices are reduced for sites of fewer than 4 pages, and are increased if additional pages are added.
You can add features to your site for additional cost, but even without the extras, your site will be perfectly complete.
Standard Features of All Sites
I can make a long list of every tiny thing your site will have when it's complete and call it a feature, but I'm not going to. Here is what you can expect when your site is complete:
- Custom Design: Of course, the design of your site will be what you want to represent you or your business.
- Contact Form: This highly useful form will provide your customers with a convenient way of sending feedback information to you by e-mail.
- Search Engine Optimization: I will construct your site to be easily indexed by search engines ("search engine friendly"). I may suggest content wording to help your site achieve a favorable search engine result.
- Your site will work: Before your site is made live, I'll test it to make sure everything works - just like you would want it! That's all there is to it.
Yes, I know it's not a long list of features, but look at it this way: If I build a site for you, it will be what you want, search engines will be able to find it, and it will work. Simple.
How Does this Get Done?
Here is a brief version of the design process:
We will communicate by phone or email so I can get an idea of what you want. You may have very specific ideas - even completed artwork - or your ideas may be vague; it doesn't matter. I will work with any ideas you have.
While you are gathering or creating the content for your site, I will begin the preliminary construction of your site. I'll direct you to the under-construction page online so you can see the design as it progresses. This way, you can request modifications to your site until it's how you want it.
You'll send me your content (text, images, sound files, whatever you have) and I'll add it to your site according to your specifications.
When I finish testing the site to make sure everything works, you will get final approval, then the site gets put online!
